Fees & Session Times, Nursery is open 7am – 6pm

Full day includes lunch, tea, mid-morning and afternoon snacks. A complimentary breakfast is offered to all children between 8am – 8.30am. Upperthorpe Nursery is open for 51 weeks of the year, closing for all statutory bank holidays and for one week over the Christmas – New Year period starting from 1.00 pm on Christmas Eve.

Fee rates are reviewed annually in October and any increases notified to parents in writing one month in advance. We offer free funded education which allows you to claim either 15 or 30 hours per week for 38 weeks of the year. This funding can be taken during term time sessions or be stretched across the year. Please contact us to discuss your eligibility or options for funded childcare. Parents can top up sessions for an additional fee should this be required. We accept childcare vouchers.

Fees are payable in accordance with our published fee schedule, and are payable on the first day of each calendar month, in advance. Fees are payable by cash or BACS 25th of each month  Fees are calculated by multiplying the weekly fee by 52 weeks and dividing by 12 calendar months. There are no reductions for absences, including sickness or holidays, except in the case of full – time children who are entitled to a 50% reduction in fees for a maximum period of 2 weeks per year. Late payments will be subject to a £10 per week Administration Fee.
